The strategic group leader’s mandate is to:
Lead the group in order to promote the cohesion of its members.
Support and leverage the development of projects within the group to facilitate obtaining research grants from funding agencies.
Strategic group activities:
The strategic groups are given a budget to coordinate the development of scientific programs and projects. The budget is allotted in collaboration with members of the group. The Scientific Council is responsible for assessing the progress achieved by each strategic group’s scientific and budgetary program.
The head of each strategic group presents an annual report of the group’s activity to the Scientific Council.
